MIKADO INTERNATIONAL WAS LAUNCHED IN 2010
TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN THE MODERN, MULTICULTURAL CONSUMER AND THE BRANDS TRYING
TO REACH THEM.
Recognizing a growing need for advertising strategies that speak to the new, diverse global consumer base, MIKADO International was founded on the principle that inclusive, thoughtful, and relevant communications can bridge cultural gaps, tell a brand’s story, and deliver optimal results at the same time.
In 2012, we began working with our first Fortune 100 company, and have since expanded our portfolio of clients to include global consumer brands and household names. We’re proud to have strategized and deployed multi-channel campaigns that highlight the holidays, traditions, and values of the minority groups that have largely been ignored by traditional marketing efforts. We believe catering to multicultural communities and understanding the complexities and intricacies of their identity is essential to embracing diversity in today’s fragmented world.

Meet our team

Sandrine Vohra
chief executive officer
Born to an Indian immigrant family in France, Sandrine graduated with a degree in International Management from the ESSEC Business School in Paris and went on to earn her MBA from the University of Colorado, Denver in 2007. Prior to founding MIKADO International in 2010, she had the distinct honor of working in marketing and leadership roles for global organizations such as Merrill Lynch and Dish Network in various countries including France, Germany, India, and the U.S. where she successfully developed and executed multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Throughout her personal and professional journeys, she has helped raise awareness about minority representation and is actively championing the #DiversityIsNow movement. Sandrine’s passion for diversity and her work at MIKADO has earned her notable accolades as an authentic ambassador of the empowered ethnic woman. In 2019, she was recognized as one of 50 outstanding Asian American leaders.
When Sandrine is not strategizing the next big international multicultural campaign for global brands like Unilever, Lipton, Knorr, Xfinity/Comcast at MIKADO or creating an inclusive, responsible and supportive work environment for her peers (a diverse group including working mothers) to excel in, she is busy being a mother to two beautiful girls.
She is a self-confessed foodie and a regular contributor to wine and culture blogs. In her spare time, she enjoys sampling cuisines from the vast assortment of restaurants Denver has to offer and exploring the history behind the various wine regions of the world.
Sandrine is fluent in four languages – French, German, Hindi, and English – and is currently learning Spanish and Sanskrit.

Nahil Khalife
Creative Director
After earning her BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Minnesota in 2011, Nahil gained experience working as a creative wearing multiple hats at several advertising agencies in Minneapolis. She brings her diverse experience to every creative execution. If it’s branding, print, web design, or strategy, she delivers. Her solutions are crafted with a methodical precision. Her command of multiple languages, never say never attitude, constant smile and love of the storytelling are just a few ways this brilliant thinker sees the big picture.
As the Creative Director at MIKADO, she enjoys creating consumer-first design strategies to successfully produce campaigns that meet the client’s objectives in the market. Nahil is passionate about seeing her work out in the world and how it impacts consumers from many cultures.
Like many of her colleagues, Nahil is a self-confessed foodie who enjoys discovering different bourbons, and new, local restaurants where she can sample cuisines from many different regions.
New mom to Luciano. Nahil also speaks 3 languages fluently; English, Arabic, and French.

Tiphany Rigaudias
Digital Director
After graduating from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a degree in International Business Administration and Management, Tiphany went on to earn a Masters’s in Commerce, Marketing, and Management from the UVA McIntire School of Commerce in 2009.
With over 12 years of experience in the telecommunications, retail, and sports industries, Tiphany has extensive experience in international media planning and strategy development. Her past roles include Marketing & Ecommerce Director for Decathlon, the world’s biggest sports retailer, where she also served on the Board of Directors and helped open and launch the company in new markets, including several retail stores in Colombia. Tiphany has also worked on digital strategy for leading companies in their fields such as DISH Network, Quechua, Unilever, Comcast, TV5 Monde, and Euronews, to name a few.
Passionate about data and digital innovations, Tiphany now heads up the Digital department at MIKADO, where she oversees online strategy and uses her love of data to strategize multi-channel marketing campaigns that are each tailored to exceed our partner’s KPIs.
Tiphany is fluent in French, Spanish, and English fluently and also studied Arabic and Russian. Outside of work, she can be found traveling the globe, having been to over 37 countries, and doing watersports.

Rami Awad
sr. motion artist
Rami is a first generation Jordanian Canadian and Sr. Motion Artist at MIKADO. He is bilingual, speaking both Arabic and English.
With over two decades of experience across different countries and cultures, Rami visualizes and brings any story to life with his outstanding motion graphics, 3D lighting, and motion chopping skills. He has spent his time working on big and small clients such as: Marvel Studios, Aramco, Lipton, Mercedes-Benz, Saudi Post, Tecno Mobile, GreenBerry Coffee and The Saudi Investment Bank. Rami is always on the move to take any design to the next level.
Outside of work, Rami is an avid Star Wars and Star Trek fan and enjoys playing squash in his free time.
